The Periodic Table of Heavy Metals

Hello folks!

Busy at work and too tired even to link something to this damn blog...also, too lazy. :))...but hell, I was born this way (get it!? If not, check it out here or here)

Anyway, while surfing the net trying to quench my thirst for useless usefull information, I came across this gem. A periodic table of the metal elements. The heavy metal ones, to be more precise.

Some of the bands I know, other were new to me, but still, you gotta appreciate the time and effort put into this. You gotta have dedication man! And a lotta spare time, and be bored to death and hell knows what else... :D

Check it out!

On The Brink Of Extinction

Yes, we are. Kind of. We haven't reached the brink, but we are heading towards it at insane speed. Why? Because, we, as a race (I mean humanity - because that's the only race out there) started to discard an important factor that marks our existence. Interdependency with nature. Okay, nature might not depend on us for its survival in a direct way, but we, sure as hell depend on it. Yet, we take it for granted and viciously exploit it. I know many have written this before, and by now for some of you it might sound like a cliche, but hey, it doesn't hurt being remembered from time to time. Some of us forget.

These being said, I'll let you enjoy the latest video from one of my alltime favourites, Napalm Death. The name of the video is also the name of the post and it contains images of seal clubbing (If I could get my hands on those assholes I'd return the "favour"), whaling - again, an impressive "watersport" that is practiced by us "evolved" creatures, solely for profit - and, amazingly, images of Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, if I'm not mistaken. And I think I'm not. This is my favourite track from Napalm Death's latest album, Time Waits for No Slave. My neighbours can concur!

Beauty Through Order

That's the name of the track the guys from Slayer chose to do a video for...damn!

Despite a lot of Slayer fans consider this track as one of the best from World Painted Blood, I think it's the lamest! I mean, with such tracks as Hate Worldwide, Psychopathy Red, Not Of This God, Unit 731 or Snuff, I was hoping for a kick-ass defiant video. Instead, they offered some post-modernist awfulness. Okay, you experiment, but the best blow is one delivered straight in the face! ;-)

So, here's the video, that will definitely stir controversy among Slayer purists and others.
